Remington Compact Folding Portable (1937)
This beautiful compact typewriter with folding type bars, was assembled in London from parts in the USA in 1937 and is in excellent original condition. The machine has been fully serviced with a new ribbon fitted and is in very good working order with a nice clear pica typeface giving you 10 characters to the inch. The top cover has gold lettering on the shiny black enamel paintwork and the keyboard has very nice chrome key rings and black keytops. Supplied with it's original carry case and a copy of user instructions, it is a very fine collectable typewriter.
Replacement ribbon for this machine is available to rewind onto the original spools. (group 1)
